2. What services are included in a membership?
Memberships cover access, coordination, priority scheduling, and discounts on handyman and other services. While some specialized work may involve licensed contractors, all general handyman tasks are performed directly by Southern Ridge Homecraft.
3. How do memberships work?
Choose a plan - Home Radar, Handy Neighbor, or Essential Expert - and pay a small monthly fee. Your plan gives you priority scheduling, emergency coordination (if included), and discounts on all services.
4. Do I have to pay for services in addition to my membership?
Yes. The membership covers access, scheduling, and coordination, not the cost of materials or labor. Members receive 25–30% off standard rates for handyman services and discounted rates for other vetted professionals.
5. Can I request services if I’m not a member?
Yes! Non-members can request services at standard rates, but they won’t receive membership discounts, priority scheduling, or concierge support.
6. Who performs the work?
- Handyman services: Performed directly by Southern Ridge Homecraft.
- Specialized trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.): Licensed and insured contractors retained by Southern Ridge Homecraft.
7. Are the contractors insured?
Yes. All outside contractors carry their own insurance and required licenses.
8. How do I schedule a service?
Members can schedule through a portal, text, or call, and the appropriate professional will be assigned. Non-members call or email to request a service.
9. Emergency services:
For our Home Radar memberships that include emergency coverage, submit a request in the user portal and be sure to check the box indicating you have an emergency. Southern Ridge Homecraft will respond as quickly as possible with dispatch information.
10. What if I’m not satisfied with the work?
Southern Ridge Homecraft coordinates follow-ups to address concerns. Handyman services meet high standards, and member support helps resolve any issues with outside contractors.
11. Can I upgrade, pause, or cancel my membership?
Yes. Plans can be changed anytime, or cancelled after the required three month minimum. Please refer to the terms and conditions for specific membership details.
All service work is coordinated and billed by Southern Ridge Homecraft. Subscriptions cover concierge access, coordination, priority scheduling, and service discounts.
